Project Solution

TRC is an engineering and commercial company focused on developing and supplying turnkey solutions for the energy and environmental sectors.

TRC contacted EST in order to design and implement a turnkey electrical and automation solution for a power generation plant consisting of 3 MAN fuel generator sets of 1.63MW each, to be installed on the island of Santiago in Cape Verde. The implemented system automatically controls and protects each generator set and also controls the auxiliary systems of each MAN generator set, namely fuel supply, water cooling, etc. The system automatically records the energy produced, energy consumed, operating hours, process variables, etc., and also allows the data recorded to be consulted and reported.
