ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNICIAN
JOB DESCRIPTION
Preparation and implementation of EMP – Environmental Management Plan;
Preparation, execution and presentation of Environmental Impact Assessment Matrices, with supporting evidence;
Preparation and implementation of WMP – Waste Management Plan;
Preparation and execution of EEP – Environmental Emergency Plan;
Monitoring of applicable environmental legislation and preparation of the Legal Compliance Register, with respective evidence;
Support in meeting requirements for environmental licensing of projects.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Environmental Sciences or similar field;
- Knowledge of main environmental management tools;
- Knowledge of applicable environmental legislation;
- Strong organisational, analytical skills and sense of responsibility;
- Experience in the field valued (not mandatory);
- Fluency in English;
- Availability to work in Sines.
CONDITIONS
- On-the-job technical training, with continuous support;
- Salary compatible with qualifications and demonstrated experience;
- Fixed-term contract with an expected duration of approximately 6 to 8 months.
