EST is completing the installation of two new centers for waste treatment and recovery in the municipalities of Aveiro and Coimbra, belonging to ERSUC.

"ERSUC – An AdP Group company which is responsible for processing and recovery of waste in 36 municipalities of the Centre region, may be backed by two new centers of municipal solid waste (MSW), equipped with modern technologies to respond to major challenges that the sector is facing, particularly with regard to the diversion of biodegradable waste going to landfill by means of energy recovery and organic valorisation, and recovery of packaging materials that are likely to be sent for recycling."

EST installed in the unit of mechanical and biological treatment (MBT), motive power panels, automation and control, cable trays, power cables, instrumentation, Profibus DP and PA communication and a fiber optic network, as well as a wastewater treatment plant with design, installation and automation, electrical boards, cable trays, cables and instruments.

The execution of the two work contracts involved about 30 employees, during six months, reaching a turnover of € 1M.

Soon a new work contract will start on a new venture in each of the centers, regarding the installation of "TYRANNOSAURUS^® SRF PROCESS LINE" preparation unit of waste for landfill.
